It’s the time of year again when the team at Wanstor get into the Christmas spirit and search out brightly coloured Christmas jumpers in order to compete for the highly coveted ‘Best Christmas Jumper‘ prize, while also raising money for Save the Children, which is a truly excellent cause.
To properly launch ourselves into the festive season, we seized the opportunity to have a mini Christmas party in the office, with nibbles and drinks, followed by our annual award ceremony where the entire company gets to vote to recognise the efforts of different people during the year, in some serious and some not so serious categories.
This has been our biggest year to date with some fantastic, incredibly imaginative and in most cases loud jumpers on show. More importantly, as an organisation, we raised just short of £700 to help Save the Children as they look to give children living in refugee camps clothes to keep them warm through winter, help buy nutritious food and set up safe spaces to give children the chance to be children again.
Huge thanks go to the entire team for their great response and all of your efforts supporting such a great cause. Hearty congratulations go to Steve, our Network Operations Manager, for his winning entry.
